The scene: Daddy and daughter in truck waiting at a stop light. Celine Dion singing “O Holy Night” on the radio (Celine is one of Daddy’s least favorite singers; her emoting style grates on his nerves).
Celine: “Oh Niiiiiiggggghhhtttt Dee–viiiiiiiiiinnne!”
Daddy: (Throws out hands and lipsyncs “Dee–viiiiiiiiiinnnne!”)
Light turns green. Hands back on wheel, Daddy moves into driving mode.
Daughter: “Daddy, if you’re doing that to be funny, don’t do it. If you’re doing it for God, go ahead and do it.”
Daddy: “For God?”
Daughter: “Yeah, you know. The song’s about God.”
