Great column in Thursday’s Mobile Register by Quin Hillyer (hat tip: Southern Appeal - actually Hillyer himself, who writes for SA). I’m not crazy about the title of the piece (”National media witch hunt against the religious right”), but I think he hits the important points, mostly that the influence of the religious right has been blown completely out of proportion.
