One of my old high school band buddies (and first college roommate) came to visit this weekend. And my parents were in town as well. So we took the opportunity for some sightseeing.
One of our favorite outings with guests is to visit a couple of nearby waterfalls in the Nantahala National Forest, just south of us. I thought I’d share a couple of shots I took so you can see why you should include Western North Carolina in your vacation plans sometime.
This is Dry Falls:
It’s called Dry Falls because you can walk behind it without getting wet, as I demonstrate here (taken from the back side of the falls):
